Practice

For more than 25 years, healthcare professionals have relied on Highway Imaging Associates to provide comprehensive and state-of-the-art imaging services, and achieve the highest level of patient care. After relocating the practice to our 2095 Flatbush Avenue location in 2001, HIA introduced a complete range of advanced imaging services to the area, including Digital Mammography, Digital X-Ray, High Field MRI, CT, PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and DEXA for bone density measurement.  Constantly at the forefront, Highway Imaging Associates was the first outpatient radiology practice in Brooklyn to offer SPECT imaging, radioiodine therapy for hyperthyroidism, thyroid remnant ablation for carcinoma, ventilation perfusion lung scans, as well as bone densitometry.  The multi-specialty team of physicians at HIA also serve in various leadership and attending positions within some of the regions hospitals.

What truly sets Highway Imaging Associates apart is our staff. Our four highly skilled radiologists are board certified and the majority has subspecialty training that enhances their ability to accurately interpret your imaging studies. Our technologists are certified and registered in their areas of specialty and our facility is fully accredited by the American College of Radiology.

Every member of our entire team is keenly aware of the stresses and concerns people can experience while undergoing testing and treatment. Each member of our group gently guides and supports patients to help them feel more at ease, a personal touch you don’t find at many imaging centers.  Our technologists are certified and registered in their areas of specialty, and our facility is fully accredited by the American College of Radiology.

As part of our commitment to provide superb technology in attractive facilities, we continually enhance our imaging equipment and facilities. Highlights include:

  • In March of 2011, HIA upgraded its PET/CT system to the latest generation GE System.
  • In January of 2011, the facility began a renovation plan to provide better patient and staff access, as well as aesthetic improvements to meet the highest standards of patient satisfaction.
